Fractal Tilings with two-fold rotational symmetry

There are many families of f-tilings with 2-fold rotational symmetry. At this time, those listed on this page are not accessible from the other left menu choices. I.e., there are many 2-fold f-tilings under "Tilings by Number of Prototile Edges" and "Tilings by Generating Polyform" that are not listed here. Click on the thumbnails below to see the f-tilings and read descriptions of them.

The first group of f-tilings below are based on prototiles formed by dissecting a polygon whose angles are multiples of &pi/5. Those shown are only a representative sampling of the possibilities.



The next group of f-tilings below are based on prototiles formed by dissecting a polygon whose angles are multiples of &pi/7. Again, those shown are only a representative sampling of the possibilities.
