Obsidian Platonic Solids
$79.95
Cut and polished black obsidian Platonic solids. The cube measures 4 cm face to face. Note the edges of the tetrahedron and four of the edges of the octahedron are slightly beveled. In addition, there may be very small chips at some of the edges and corners, as well as small inaccuracies in the shapes. The reflective black surfaces are quite striking, though.

Quartz Crystal Platonic Solids
$12.95
Beautiful natural quartz Platonic Solids set, hand cut and polished. The cube measures approximately 1/2" (13 mm) on a side. Note that the octahedra in these sets are somewhat shorter along one axis than the other two. Includes velvet bag. Made in Brazil.

Blank Platonics Solids Set
$6.95
Set of five standard blank dice: d4, d6, d8, d12, and d20, the five Platonic Solids. Approximate diameter 5/8". Only available in white.

Jumbo Blank Platonic Solids
$10.95
Set of five jumbo blank dice: d4, d6, d8, d12, and d20, the five Platonic Solids. Approximate diameter 1". Only available in white.

Quartz Dodecahedron Pendant
$5.00
Cut and polished rose quartz dodecahedron pendant, with silver attachment. Measures approximately 14 mm face to face.

Natural Pyrite Dodecahedron
$44.95
Large (approximately 20 mm face to face) natural (not cut) pyrite dodecahedron. Pyrite more commonly forms cubic crystals. Dodecahedra this large are relatively rare. Even an ideal pyritohedron is not a regular dodecahedron, but these natural ones have faces that deviate quite a bit from regular pentagons, as well as some small bits of other orientations.

Small Pyrite Dodecahedron
$3.00
Natural (not cut) pyrite dodecahedron. Pyrite more commonly forms cubic crystals. These are not very regular, as seen in the photo. Approximately 7 mm face to face.

Pyrite Cube
$6.95
Beautiful natural pyrite crystal cube, approximately 0.8" on a side. Since these are natural crystals, the appearance and dimensions vary somewhat from crystal to crystal. Mined in Spain.

Black Obsidian Sphere
$19.95
Polished black obsidian sphere, 6 cm (2.4") in diameter.

Black Obsidian Pyramid
$19.95
Cut and polished black obsidian squarebased pyramid. Base measures 7 cm (23/4") on a side.

Pentadron
$34.95
Pentadron consists of twelve plastic pieces with magnets inside that only allow them to fit together certain ways. The twelve pieces are all shaped the same, except for the fact that half are mirror images of the others. Assembling all twelve pieces into a cube is a challenging puzzle. This remarkable shape, a recent discovery by Jin Akiyama, is an elementary building block that allows construction of all five of Federov's parallel polyhedra. These spacefilling polyhedra are the cube, the hexagonal prism, the rhombic dodecahedron, the elongated rhombic dodecahedron, and the truncated octahedron. (The four other than the cube take more than 12 pieces.) Ages 8 to adult.

Geoballs
$24.95
Geoballs is a cut and scored kit that allows the construction of 18 different polyhedra from card stock. No glue or tape is needed; a locking tabandslot system is used. These models bring together two ancient geometric disciplines:
the study of Platonic and Archimedean solids, and traditional Islamic
patterns.

Captured Worlds
$12.95
Captured Worlds is a set of five popout, glue, and foldup polyhedra. The five used in Captured Worlds are known as the Platonic Solids. They are decorated with fanciful scenes rendered in sixpoint perspective by internationallyknown artist Dick Termes. This unique perspective system allows an entire threedimensional surrounding to be projected onto the polyhedra. Ages 13 to adult.

Shapes of Constant Width
$29.95
No matter how you rotate a circle, it’s width will always stay the same. But if you thought this property was unique to circles, then these shapes of constant width will blow your mind. Just like a circle, each of these four acrylic shapes will roll smoothly between, for example, two wooden rulers. Includes color instructions and a cloth storage bag.

Solids of Constant Width
$29.95
*** Not available at the time ***
The 3D version of the shapes of constant width. Like a sphere, these solids of constant width have the same "diameter" in any direction. Set a book, for example, on three of them, and you can roll it around smoothly. The set consists of three plastic solids known as Meissner Tetrahedra, as well as color instructions and a cloth storage bag.

Ball of Whacks
$32.95
The Ball of Whacks is made up of 30 magnetic design blocks that can be taken apart and rearranged in nearly endless ways. There's no wrong way to play and work with it. It gets your creative juice flowing! The Ball of Whacks comes with a 96page illustrated book that provides exercises for creative brainstorming and problemsolving. Only available in blue.

XBall
$32.95
The XBall is made up of 30 magnetic Xshaped pieces that click together to form a skeletal icosidodecahedron. The parts can be taken apart and rearranged in nearly endless ways. The XBall comes with a 96page illustrated book that provides exercises for creative brainstorming and problemsolving.

YBall
$32.95
The YBall is made up of 30 magnetic pieces shaped like backtoback Y's that click together to form a skeletal truncated icosahedron. The pieces can arranged in nearly endless ways. The YBall comes with an illustrated book that provides exercises for creative brainstorming and problemsolving.

Star Ball
$32.95
The Star Ball is made up of 32 magnetic pieces that click together to form a skeletal rhombic triacontahedron (30 rhombic faces). Twelve pieces have five legs ("star" shaped), and 20 pieces have three legs. The pieces can be rearranged in nearly endless ways. The Star Ball comes with an illustrated book that provides exercises for creative brainstorming and problemsolving.

Ball of Fire
$15.95
The "Ball of Fire" is a foam polyhedral sculpture designed by Eve Torrence. The kit contains 12 parts plus instructions. Assembly requires no glue or other materials. A video demonstration of the product is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPQWaVElAgQ.
