The Dice Lab Countdown d24 makes keeping track of your score or health points a delight. Based on a shape called the sphericon, it advances along a zigzag path with a gentle push. In the video below gravity provides the push to keep the die moving. Measuring 1-2/3 inches (42 mm) in the long direction, the Countdown d24 is available in black, white, and translucent amber. Orbiforms have the same width in every direction. If you put a book on three of these it will roll smoothly on the table, just as a book on three spheres would. Unlike conventional tetrahedral four-sided dice, these dice roll smoothly and wobble as well. The shape is mathematically fair, giving equal probability for the four results.
