Unique Polyhedral Dice

The Dice Lab offers five unique polyhedral dice. Prices shown are the suggested retail prices. The dice are available in black, blue, red, green, white, purple, and Malachite, individually or as a set. Detailed notes on each design are available on the Dice Design page. Truncated Tetrahedral d4
Single die: $2.00
Set of five in five colors: $8.00
Unlike the standard d4, which is a regular tetrahedron, this truncated tetrahedron design allows the numbers to face up. The die will occasionally land with a large blank face up, in which case you can either roll again or consider it a "wild card" roll. Approximately 17 mm across.

Truncated Octahedral d8
Single die: $2.00
Set of five in five colors: $8.00
This d8 rolls more readily than the standard regular-octahedron design. These truncated octahedra will also stack together to fill space without gaps. The die will occasionally land with a large blank face up, in which case you can either roll again or consider it a "wild card" roll. Approximately 19 mm across.

Rhombic d12

The rhombic dodecahedron is closely related to both the cube and the octahedron. Like the truncated octahedron, multiple copies will fill space without gaps. Approximately 22 mm across.

Deltoidal d24
Single die: $3.00
Set of five in five colors: $12.00
Each face in this polyhedron is kite shaped. In our opinion, this shape rolls better and is more attractive than the standard d24. A computer search was used to distribute the numbers as uniformly as possible. Approximately 25 mm across.

Deltoidal d60
