The base grid cell is a 60-90-120-90 kite. The scaling factor from one generation to the next is 1/2, and the rotation angle is 0 degrees. While this is technically a fractal, it could also be described as simply a logarithmic spiral. The mirrored version does not produce a well-behaved tile.
