Domino

The scaling factor from one generation to the next is 1/√2. A staggered, or Z, arrangement of two dominos to form a unit cell is the only one that tiles in the manner required to form a fractal reptile. The reptile formed is known as the twindragon. The top figure shows the first several iterations, while the lower figure shows the tile after several additional iterations.
